Episode #17 - “Crossroads, Part 2″
It will be a long summer and fall for BSG fans with all the twists and surprises that “Crossroads Part 2″ left us with. The Season 3 finale ended with several shocking developments, and we are only beginning to wrap our heads around them. We take a stab at the revealed Cylons*, Baltar’s trial, and Starbuck’s return.
The Quorum was back to full strength with Brian, Jason, Dimitry and Michele.
Programming note: we will cover emails, posts from the forum, and voice mails in the next show.

There were many developments in “Crossroads Part 1″ and none loomed larger than Baltar’s trial. We dissect the proceedings, Roslin’s vision, Tigh’s breakdown, Baltar’s fan club, and Lee’s haters club (that would be us).

No commentsCharity Auction featuring items autographed by BSG cast
We got word of a charity auction featuring some items autographed by cast members of BSG and other sci-fi shows. We found out about this fairly late, but the last round of auctions (March 19-25) will feature Apollo himself, Jamie Bamber.
“Bears that Care” is brought to you with the support of the Vancouver film industry and BC Women’s Hospital & Health Centre in Canada. 100% of the proceeds from the auctions of the Bears that Care for Women’s will benefit the BC Women’s Hospital and Health Centre.
You can find out what’s up for grabs each week at http://www.bcwomensfoundation.org/online_auction.php or http://members.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewUserPage&userid=bcwomensfoundation.
No commentsNow you can wear our faces around town
We have recently set up an online t-shirt store for the Galactica Quorum. Now you can wear our lovely mugs around town and let everyone know how much you love us.
We are planning on adding some other designs as time rolls on. If you have any suggestions on what type of Galactica Quorum t-shirt design you’d like to wear around town, let us know. Galactica Quorum Shop
No commentsEpisode #15 - “The Son Also Rises”
It may have been titled “The Son Also Rises” but it was Romo Lampkin that impressed us.
We also discuss Lee’s predictable turn as the insubordinate son, whether Adama should be involved at all, Helo as the CAG, and another bonus scene that should have been in the show.
Mentioned links from the podcast:
- I-CON 26 convention at Stony Brook University, March 23-25 with Jamie Bamber (Apollo)
- All-Con 2007 in Dallas, TX, March 16-18 with Kate Vernon (Ellen Tigh) and Luciana Carro (Kat)

- ColonialFleet.org for BSG costuming and props info
This week the Quorum consisted of Brian, Michele and Dimitry.
No commentsEpisode #14 - “Maelstrom”
We discuss “Maelstrom” and pay our respects to Starbuck, but we have to wonder: was her character too far gone for us to care? And is she really dead?
Also, I share some of the patches and pins I’ve acquired for next year’s Halloween costume, as well as The Gun. I’ll post pics in the forum at some point.
This eulogy for Starbuck was attended by Brian, Jason, Michele and Dimitry.

Episode #13 - “Dirty Hands”
The Quorum was divided on “Dirty Hands”…Dimitry and Michele liked it, while I hated it. After discussing some of the issues, we came to a new consensus. Topics include:
- I-CON 26 convention at Stony Brook University, March 23-25 [opens new window]
- the refinery ship–it’s no Cloud 9
- the emergence of inter-colony divisions and prejudices
- Adama’s and Roslin’s characterization, out the airlock
- who would be buying into Baltar’s manifesto?
After last week’s “live” event we returned to our usual format with our usual cast of characters: Brian, Michele, Dimitry, and Jason.
